Women’s Book Study Day TBA 7:30 to 9:30pm; House Group
“You Matter More than You Think: What a Woman Needs to Know about the Difference She Makes.”
ABOUT THE BOOK: Are you longing to make a difference? You will soon see that the random fragments of your life – whether it’s doing laundry, dashing to the store, tending to either your kids or a full-time job (or both) – mean something. The random pieces of your life hold great potential for making a profound difference. With the help of her Band of Sisters, author Leslie Parrott shows you how to take the improvised moments of your own life and create a worthy composition of more value than you imagined. You’re already making a difference, and the more you understand this difference, the bigger that difference will be. Whether you are married or single, restless or content, wounded or strong, this book, designed for every woman who longs to be more than part of the mainstream, is for you. Book cost is $15.00; eBook also available.

Expressive Art Small Group Fridays 7:00pm @ the artist’s studio in the Heritage Woods area
Let’s come together at the end of your busy week to spend some time of reflection and reconnection and relaxation. Each class will commence with a time of checking in and prayer followed by an art class Guided by local artist, Andrea Bruhns of Green Eyed Art, who loves to inspire people to explore their creative spirit in a new empowering way. Classes are guided in a rewarding environment to have fun experimenting with colour and materials (acrylic and mixed media).
No experience necessary. Cost: $60 for 4 sessions + $15 for materials. Registration by February 12th. (As we never want money to be a barrier to any church activities, financial assistance is available; contact Anne at the church office.) There will be two additional meetings to finish off the season of Lent – details TBA.
